The owner and all co-workers are professional translators or interpreters and take care of the projects themselves. Your assignment doesn’t take a world tour across several agencies. You deal with your personal linguist directly and can ensure their qualification status yourself. Thus you can communicate your needs, requirements and targets directly to the expert and work together with them to get across your ideas in an optimal and professional way. We aim at developing valuable relations of mutual trust with our customers, which will allow us to accompany them through their business efforts to success.
TRANSLATORS BY CHOICE WITH A SOLID ACADEMIC BACKGROUNG
All co-workers have been trained as translators and interpreters in specialized universities across Europe. Maria (the owner) opted for this career already in her school years. She received formal education in translation and conference interpreting by completing a BA, a MA and several other seminars and courses in major European universities (check more information about her profile). Following this branch was a conscious decision; we didn’t do this by chance just because we happened to speak a foreign language. We know well that the art of translation goes beyond language knowledge and we are passionately devoted to this!
FEELING THE PULSE OF FOREIGN CULTURES
Maria and many of her co-workers have lived and worked in more than one foreign countries for long time intervals. Thus they have gained a deep understanding of subtle cultural and social aspects in the places they have stayed.
Why is this important?
Translation and interpreting aim at establishing a communication system between different parties. Language serves as a vehicle to express your thoughts out of your mind to the world. But is language alone enough for a successful communication?
Language is, of course, an important factor. However, non-linguistic elements, such as culture, mentality, ethics, values, relations and approaches also play a vital role in communication and an integrated translation process should take them into consideration as well.
Because a small cultural detail can create a big effect! Because a successful communication needs mutual understanding! And understanding depends a lot on cultural elements, mentalities and habits. A translator acts as a cultural mediator, who bridges all these gaps and brings cultures and different worlds together. Linguistic knowledge is necessary in this process, but to make the transferred message totally effective, you also need to deeply feel the pulse of both sides.
WE PUT A HIGH VALUE ON QUALITY
We are passionate about translation and we don’t see our work as a simple process to complete. We are here to consult customers and help them address their audience in an appropriate way. Whether they aim at promoting their business and boosting sales, finding supporters for their cause, educating consumers, spreading their ideas, persuading their interlocutor or submitting their documents, we take the time to examine details and adopt a suitable approach to help them succeed. We feel that our customers’ success is our own success and we’d like to accompany them in this path!
